Many of us have known someone who has had an accident or a head injury, that seemed minor, but took weeks or months to recover from.  It may have even been you.  How do you support revering from broken or bruised bones and tissue, fear, and anxiety, or a concussion or brain injury beyond the usual rest and relaxation, maybe stillness or silence?

Our episode today explores options you have available to you when considering complementary and integrative health options.  We are exploring what happens when you don’t just wait for rest and relaxation to bring healing to the body and spirit.

Today we have our guest with an injury, Denise Cambiotti, from Muscle Tuners International, as well as her two colleagues and friends who stepped up to support her with the symptoms she was experiencing throughout her recovery.

Denise has been working in the BioEnergetic Wellness field for over 3 decades.  She has trained extensively with mentors around the world.  She first began with Touch for Health training and is an instructor for this world phenomenon.  She is also an instructor for a program known as SIPS or Stress Indicator Point System.  The techniques in this program provide the facilitator with skills to find combinations of stressors within the system and bring them back into harmony.  You can learn more about her work at www.muscletuners.fit.

Beverly Hunter is a recognized international Instructor, Consultant, and Therapist in her holistic health practices.   She has traveled intensively with Educational Kinesiology, Brain Gym, and MNRI as a core specialist working with our neurosensory motor reflexes and brain/body integration on people of all ages.  Although semi-retired, her love of being of service and sharing her knowledge keeps her in the field and active in her work.  One of her loves now is doing healing with the BioGenesis tools. You can learn more about Bev Hunter at Turning on the Light Learning Center in Kelowna, BC.

Alexis Costello, Founder of GEMS College of Energy Medicine and Creator of the GEMS courses, is a barefoot gardener, zouk dancer, book reader, and mother of dragons. She has been working in the holistic health field for over 20 years, spending much of that time teaching various modalities of muscle response testing and serving on the Boards of various National and International Associations (CanASK, IASK). She is part of the foundation team at Knowlative and the Chief Organization Officer for SIPS Kinesiology International Ltd.  You can find her at these connections:
