Exploring Intuition and Light Language with Lori Hops
Intuition is the experience of gaining knowledge without conscious reasoning. We all have similar experiences like turning in a different direction at the last minute to find our way to what we were looking for. Or, responding with an answer to a question even though we didn't think we knew the answer in our conscious mind. Or, the awareness that someone was in the room with us, and when we turn to look, they are there.
Dr. Lori Hops walks us through the value of using our innate intuition and trusting our instincts so they can develop. She also shares her discovery and investigation into Light Language and our ways of communicating and having awareness. Perhaps you have wondered how you know what you know or how you gain information and insight so quickly and in different ways. Our conversation is a light and informative dive into what our ways of knowing mean and how we can continue to develop these skills. A true inspiration for exploring with curiosity, Dr. Hops creates the space for all of us to reach for more.
Lori provides us with a special guided meditation to begin to develop the skills to access Light Language. Be sure to make a cup of tea and take the time to enjoy this quiet opportunity. With her background as a Licensed Psychologist and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, she is also a Diplomat in Comprehensive Energy Psychology. Dr. Hops’ practices are based on conventional western empirical science, and wisdom traditions from around the world, including holistic systems, energy practices, and the use of intuition and inner guidance. Dr. Hops also uses techniques from Logosynthesis, cognitive behavioral, family systems, developmental, and psychodynamic approaches to healing with her clients.
We open the episode with Hugging the Holidays tea blend from the Cape Breton Tea Company, launching with the 2022 Holiday Season, and close with some ideas about movement in the figure 8 pattern in dance and Tai Chi.
